Nam enters quarter-finals of Thailand tennis event

HÀ NỘI — Việt Nam’s top tennis player Lý Hoàng Nam advanced to the quarter-finals of the Thailand F 四 Futures tennis tournament in Nonthaburi Province yesterday.

The No  一 seed Nam easily beat Kerdlaphee Kittirat of the hosts  六- 二,  六- 一 in  五 八 minutes in the second round.

Nam’s next rival will be No  七 seed Lee Kuan-Yi of Chinese Taipei.

Earlier, Nam crushed Noh Sang-woo of South Korea  六- 二,  六- 二 in their first-round match.

Nam is Southeast Asia’s No  一 tennis player with No  四 七 一 in the world. — VNS
