Vietnamese top tennis player Lý Hoàng Nam lost to Japanese Kento Takeuchi in the main round of the Japan F 四 Futures tennis tournament yesterday.

Nam, world No  八 八 六, was defeated  四- 六,  五- 七 by world No  四0 八 and No  三 seed Takeuchi in this year’s event after an hour and  五 五 minutes.

Earlier the  一 九-year-old Nam beat three rivals in the qualifying rounds to reach to the main round.

Nam, born in Tây Ninh Province, will play in the coming F 五 event. — VNS
